Purple Reign: The Prince Tribute Show is a live concert production performed at V Theater inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. Led by Jason Tenner as Prince, the show recreates the music, fashion, choreography and electrifying stage presence associated with the legendary artist through live vocals, musicians and dancers. The production celebrates Prince’s rock, funk, pop and soul catalog while incorporating a tribute to Morris Day and The Time, connecting the experience to the music and characters of the Purple Rain era. Purple Reign began in small clubs near UNLV before becoming an internationally recognized tribute act. In 2008, the group became the first tribute or impersonator act to appear as a musical guest on Late Show with David Letterman. Audiences can expect an energetic concert experience filled with elaborate costumes, playful stage banter and Prince’s most recognizable music.
